With my books

I am a monkey man

I try to be funny

As much as I can be

Sometimes I fail terribly

I went to the zoo

To find a cure for my blues

I did not find anyone

Bluer than me

I was bluer than blue

Sadder than Sad

All of a sudden

Somebody appeared

It was the devil himself

Showing me the gates to heaven
