 16. What Does China Want? The rise of China is a hot topic. I don't know what to make of it. I am trying to read some books. I may understand a little. Make no mistake, I ain't an expert. Rudyard Kipling talked about the White Man's Burden. Did it involve making slaves of Africans? What to do with China now? I am not 100 percent Chinese. My culture might be a mix of American, Japanese, and Russian. I am no one. What does Xi Jinping want? What happened in Tiananmen? What about Nanking? Where in the map is Ukraine? How about Israel? Why is the Middle East Muslim? What about Tibet? There are so many things to read about. Does AI have a final solution or is there no permanent fix to human salvation. Why do I need to be saved? Chapter 5. The World As I See It For the record, I lean slightly to the left. I believe in freedom, satire, and the right to choose. Communism seems to have lost but has reinvented itself to state capitalism in China.  Singapore was the model thanks to the late great statesman Lee Kuan Yew.  LKY had detractors, most men in history do. LKY is no Jesus Christ but in my mind, he did so much better to lift billions out of poverty.  LKY influenced Deng Xiapong if I am not mistaken. The Chinese work harder than any other people I know. China is not China because of America alone.  China felt humiliated by the West. That is their narrative.
