For the record, I lean slightly to the left. I believe in freedom, satire, and the right to choose. Communism seems to have lost but has reinvented itself to state capitalism in China. Singapore was the model thanks to the late great statesman Lee Kuan Yew. 



LKY had detractors, most men in history do. LKY is no Jesus Christ but in my mind, he did so much better to lift billions out of poverty. LKY influenced Deng Xiapong if I am not mistaken. The Chinese work harder than any other people I know. China is not China because of America alone. China felt humiliated by the West. That is their narrative. Let's see how this story unfolds in our lifetime.
